Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimodal Freight Operator to join our team at First Choice Staff. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for handling the import and export of Ocean and Air Freight shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling the import and export of Ocean and Air Freight shipments
  • Taking initial enquiry and making bookings with shipping lines, hauliers and airlines
  • Processing shipping documentation, customs entries and clearances
  • Ensuring and arranging the safe delivery of freight to its final destination
  • Supporting the account management of a Global account through proactive communication
  • Providing support related to Freight Forwarding transactions, answering customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Air and Sea Freight, as well as Account Management experience
  • Cargowise experience is desirable, but not essential
