About Our Channel Sales Team at Nutanix

The Director of Channel & Ecosystems for UK&I will be a vital part of Nutanix's thriving Channel Sales division. This team is responsible for developing new accounts, expanding into emerging sectors, and enhancing partner expertise in the Nutanix product portfolio. They work closely with various departments within Nutanix to achieve exceptional sales outcomes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to a team of Channel Sales Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key Nutanix partners across the UK&I region, ensuring alignment on sales strategies and objectives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Channel Sales strategy that drives revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Empower partners to effectively sell Nutanix solutions through targeted training programs, enablement resources, and ongoing support.
  • Drive pipeline development and consistently achieve booking targets by collaborating with partners and leveraging their expertise in the field.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, to ensure seamless alignment of growth initiatives.
  • Plan and oversee channel initiatives, partner business strategies, and programs that contribute to overall sales success.
  • Work in tandem with field marketing to develop effective communication campaigns and demand generation activities that support partner efforts.

Your Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of proven experience in channel sales, with a demonstrated track record of success in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • In-depth understanding of sales processes and best practices within the technology industry, particularly in channel sales methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide a diverse team of Channel Sales Managers.
  • Experience in target account selling, solution selling, or consultative sales approaches, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer needs and business challenges.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior partner contacts at all levels, building strong relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
  • Skilled in budget planning and management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize sales performance.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive channel strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
