You will work closely with our clients, including The United Nations and The World Bank, to deliver and manage international development grant-funded programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a tailored plan for all assignments based on a thorough understanding of the terms of reference and applicable contractual conditions
  • Lead opening meetings with clients and auditees, presenting audit findings clearly and credibly at closing meetings
  • Lead assignment fieldwork teams, including locally based staff, on overseas assignments, or work independently
  • Identify issues and areas of non-compliance on an assignment and document them in a detailed, precise, and clear manner in the assignment report
  • Work effectively under tight deadlines and manage time efficiently
  • Be prepared to spend up to 40% of your time on international assignments

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in international development and a desire to make a positive impact
  • A love of international travel, with experience of working or volunteering internationally
  • A second language, particularly French, Spanish, German, Arabic, or Portuguese
  • A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, constructively, and respectfully
  • A proven track record in audit work, preferably cross-border, not-for-profit, public sector, or grant-related audit
