Fire Door Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Fire Door Surveyor to join our team in Birmingham, covering the West Midlands area. As a Fire Door Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting compliance inspections and structural surveys to identify points for correction on fire doors and compartmentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting fire door and compartmentation inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Recording findings on compliance software and writing detailed reports
  • Managing appointments and providing technical advice to clients and tenants
  • Performing post-work inspections to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Assisting Contracts and Operations Managers as needed
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £26, plus a vehicle and fuel card
  • The opportunity to transition to a permanent contract after 3 months, with a salary of £38,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Good technical knowledge of fire doors and compartmentation/fire stopping
  • Experience working in the social housing sector
  • Ability to liaise and report to clients and tenants
  • Experience surveying fire doors and fire stopping
