Mayday Personnel Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Warehouse Operative/Forklift to join their team. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate preparation of goods for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift and maintain a fully accredited Counterbalance license
  • Manually handle goods as required
  • Hand wrap pallets to ensure they are ready for shipping
  • Pick, pack, wrap, label, and load orders for dispatch
  • Move stock around the warehouse by hand
  • Unload and break down pallets
  • Work as part of a team, utilizing organizational skills to meet deadlines
  • Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions

Requirements:

  • Hold an in-date counterbalance license
  • Be self-motivated and possess excellent time-keeping skills to meet deadlines
  • Be physically fit and able to complete manual handling and moving of goods
  • Be reliable and a hard-working team player
  • Have very good attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay rate: up to £13.50 per hour
  • Monday to Friday working hours: 08:00am until 17:00pm, with every weekend off
