Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of pharmacists and support staff in providing proactive customer engagement and community outreach.
- Ensure the delivery of essential pharmacy services, including flu vaccinations and NHS Pharmacy First Service.
- Manage pharmacy colleagues' schedules, holidays, and working time to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate with other pharmacy colleagues to provide support and advice, while maintaining confidentiality and timely communication.
- Coach and lead the pharmacy team and store manager to achieve agreed key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide direction and guidance to pharmacy colleagues to ensure a safe and effective workflow.
- Be responsible for the safe, effective, and legal operation of the pharmacy.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy standard operating procedures and complete all necessary audits and actions.
- Oversee the ordering and replenishment of pharmacy stock and control the sale of medicines.
- Build relationships with general practitioners and healthcare professionals in the community.
- Utilize expert knowledge to maximize services and sales while adhering to clinical, ethical, and legal requirements.
We are looking for a pharmacy professional with a true passion for helping others and a desire to lead and enhance our pharmacy services.
- Possess a pharmacy degree and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Have experience working in the community pharmacy sector.
- Be enthusiastic and committed to delivering pharmacy services and KPIs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers, colleagues, and the community.
