About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager Designate to join our team at Superdrug. As a Store Manager Designate, you will play a key role in supporting our store operations and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in leading the store team to achieve sales and service targets
  • Assist in identifying and exploring opportunities to grow sales, ensure optimum stock range and availability, and maintain strict cost and stock control
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and sales performance
  • Provide coaching and guidance to store staff to help them develop their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
Requirements
  • Previous retail experience with roles such as Assistant Management or similar
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and service targets
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills

About the Designate Role

In this role, you will support us by being willing to travel to a variety of stores locally around your base location based on demand. This will provide you with exposure and day-to-day variety, and you won't travel forever. We want these roles to help support future hiring needs and soon you will be ready to jump into a specific store and progress within the business.
