We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to join our UK & Ireland Packaging Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the engineering and technical aspects of significant change programmes and continuous improvement projects.

", "Key Responsibilities": "
  • Manage the technical design and implementation of projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, to standard, on time, and in budget.
  • Support the Head of Engineering and the UK&I Senior Leadership Team in delivering identified projects and overseeing a project portfolio that drives operational improvement and increased efficiencies.
  • Develop and implement robust technical design and implementation plans, including cost and complexity estimation, project workstreams, technical specification development, and supplier/contractor management.
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure critical path activities and timelines are known, and escalate any potential risks or milestones that may be missed.
  • Conduct risk analysis, involve key stakeholders, and ensure that each potential risk factor is evaluated, fully understood, with action plans put in place to mitigate against any risks.

  • Formal training in an engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Design, Electrical, Civil, Systems)
  • Experience in Project Engineering Management, delivering significant organisational change and process improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, on time and on budget
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
