We are seeking an exceptional Property Management Manager to join our dynamic team at Darlows Estate Agents in Merthyr Tydfil. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of property managers, ensuring the business is risk-averse and compliant with regulatory bodies, and delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of property managers to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and assess individual team member performance, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and maintain a risk-averse business environment.
  • Negotiate tenancy extensions and renewals, and coordinate with contractors for maintenance and repair issues.
  • Process deposit returns, resolve rental arrears, and process eviction requests.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Complete check-in and check-out procedures, including full inventory reports.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license for a manual vehicle.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Property Manager within residential lettings.
  • Strong knowledge of current residential lettings legislation.
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive team spirit and enjoyable working environment.

What We Offer

  • Competitive basic salary of £28,500 to £39,000, dependent on experience.
  • Up to £7,200 in capped commission.
  • Uncapped commission target of £3,725.
  • Complete on-target earnings of £39,425 to £49,925.
