We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist Oncology Lead to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our oncology team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the oncology CNS team, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Manage mixed clinician SACT toxicity clinics within an outpatient model, including virtual clinics, supporting multiple oncologists and working closely with the Lead Cancer Pharmacist and other pharmacy colleagues.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with oncology colleagues, cancer pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and coordinated care to patients with cancer.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to oncology care, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Registered Nurse with a Master's degree in Oncology or a related field.
- Experience in cancer nursing, with a strong understanding of oncology care and treatment options.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential.
