Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BREEAM professional to join our expanding Sustainable Design team. As a Principal Sustainable Design Consultant, you will work closely with other talented design professionals to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of BREEAM consultancy services to a diverse range of clients in sectors such as property, education, defence, and government services.

If you are an ambitious BREEAM professional who is passionate about Sustainable Design and is prepared to be a catalyst for change, we would like to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Principal Sustainable Design Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing BREEAM consultancy services on a range of asset types, including offices, data centres, education and training facilities, residential institutions, workshops, etc.
  • Leading client and design team workshops to ensure clear and articulate communication.
  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders to develop sustainable design strategies and produce sustainability statements in support of planning applications.
  • Preparing and submitting assessment reports for BREEAM.
  • Advising clients on cost-effective solutions to achieve desired BREEAM ratings.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject.
  • 4 or more years of relevant industry experience.
  • Licenced BREEAM assessor.
  • Understanding of Building Regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex sustainable design concepts to clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to apply for security clearance.
