Accounts Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team at Resource Matters Ltd. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Group Finance function to process and post all ledger transactions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Timesheets:
- Oversee activity while collating resource time allocation and cost checking for mistakes.
- Ensure time entered onto Job Logic/Eque 2 collates to work undertaken and allocated against the correct job.
- Payroll:
- Support the processing of payroll as required.
- Understand the start-to-end process of weekly payroll processing to give contingency and resilience to the Finance Team.
- Expenses:
- Review and validate expenses claimed, including checking validity and rates.
- Approve and batch expenses onto Job Logic/Eque 2.
- Sales Invoicing/Cash Collection:
- Key client activity - checking values authorized, client portal, and values requiring invoicing.
- Ad hoc credit control duties following submission of applications and invoices to clients.
- Liaise with clients regarding overdue invoices to obtain payment dates.
- Purchase Invoices/PO's:
- Review outstanding PO's and take necessary actions.
- Check for duplicates and advise.
- Resolve disputed invoices with the operations team.
- Undertake payment run suggestions to assist managing cash flow.
- Statement reconciliation.
- Job Costing/Reporting:
- Produce ad hoc reports for the business.
- WIP reporting leading to chasing of billing.
- FBP Activity:
- Assist with the management accounts for FM/Group/Holdings as required.
- Budget/Forecast activity as required.
- Assist GFD/GFC with cash forecasting.
Requirements:
- Experience in accounts administration.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
