About the Role:
Engineering Recruitment Specialists (Scotland) Ltd is currently seeking a skilled Yard Operations Manager to oversee our client's equipment rental operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and expanding organization within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Leading, guiding, and nurturing the yard team to enhance performance.
  • Coordinating and managing yard personnel to ensure efficient execution of all yard-related tasks.
  • Assessing equipment conditions and initiating corrective actions for any damages.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations within the depot to maintain a secure environment for loading, unloading, and stock movement.
  • Acting as a deputy in the absence of the Depot Manager.
  • Fostering a culture of customer service excellence and effective communication to optimize operational methods.

Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Prior experience as a Yard Operations Manager or similar role within the Equipment Rental industry.
  • A high level of motivation and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • A demonstrated commitment to customer service and exceptional communication skills.
  • A valid UK Driver's License.
