The Role

As a Traffic Management Operative, you'll play a vital role in helping commuters travel safely through temporary roadworks. Our team of safety-conscious operatives deliver, install, collect, exchange, and maintain temporary traffic equipment, ensuring the smooth flow of traffic.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting equipment and systems to ensure they're fit for use and fully operational
- Recording any damage or issues
- Maintaining battery banks and ensuring vehicles, tools, and equipment are ready to use
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
- Managing checklists and completing timesheets and risk assessments
- Ensuring a safe, tidy, and clean yard
Requirements
We're looking for someone with a full and valid UK driving license, great communication skills, and a 'can-do' attitude. Experience in a similar role or safety-critical environment is beneficial. Lantra tickets M1, M2, M3, and M5 are highly desirable.
