Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects across different sectors, including Leisure, Defence, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Lifecycle Management: You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction to project delivery, ensuring contractual control and cost management of projects.
- Commercial Management: You will work alongside the project delivery team to manage subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement.
- Cost Control: You will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects, including cost control and financial reporting.
- Team Management: You will manage junior surveyors and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- Main Contractor Experience: You should have experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a regional or national contractor.
- Contract Knowledge: You should have experience with different contract forms and be able to apply your knowledge to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Project Experience: You should have experience on projects ranging between £10m to £50m and be able to manage large project teams.
