In the role of Horticultural Team Leader, you will be instrumental in managing the lively plant section of the centre.

Your key duties will encompass the nurturing and upkeep of a wide variety of plants, ensuring their health and vibrancy.

Additionally, you will set a positive example, offering direction and support to our team of plant aficionados to provide outstanding customer service and maintain an aesthetically pleasing display.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and inspire the plant area team to meet sales objectives and surpass customer expectations.
  • Uphold high standards of plant care, including irrigation, trimming, and pest management.
  • Track inventory levels, procure new stock, and ensure precise stock oversight.
  • Execute merchandising strategies to enhance the visual appeal of the plant area and boost sales.
  • Offer expert guidance to customers regarding plant selection, care, and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in horticulture, gardening, or a related discipline.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Extensive plant knowledge and a genuine passion for gardening.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
