Relief Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Relief Coordinator to join our team in Ashford. As a key member of our support services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of relief workers, managing staff training and development, and ensuring that services have adequate coverage.

• Identify staffing resource gaps and manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding of relief workers.
• Collaborate with managers to scrutinise rotas to ensure optimum resourcing levels, where necessary challenging any over-provisioning in support of effective budget management.
• Build and strengthen the roster of workers to ensure coverage across all services.
• Work closely with external agencies to arrange emergency cover as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date digital records of staff training and ensure continuous professional development.
• Manage reports and spreadsheets to maintain oversight of operational needs.

• Previous experience in relief coordination, scheduling, or a related support services role.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving challenges.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
