Senior Cloud DevOps Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud DevOps Developer to join our technology and transformation team. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for leading projects and mentoring engineers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team that has achieved great success in the Google Cloud x Formula E AI Hackathon. You will have the chance to work on building and supporting our cloud platforms, and contribute to the development of our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement monitoring tools and dashboards to track infrastructure and application performance.
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to ensure safe and quick code deployment.
  • Utilize Kubernetes to provision, operate, and optimize clusters, including custom controllers, workflow orchestration, logging, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Terraform.
  • Implement best practices for Kubernetes setup, configuration, and architecture.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement DevOps tools and processes, including Jenkins, Gitlab, Nexus, and equivalent CI/CD tools.
  • Work with the team to implement Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring.
  • Deploy clusters using automation and ensure high availability and scalability.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Python programming.
  • Hands-on experience building platforms at scale for containerized workloads.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, including cluster provisioning, operations, workload optimization, custom controllers/operators, workflow orchestration, logging monitoring, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Terraform and automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and cloud security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
