Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud Platform)

Counter Terrorism Policing is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Platforms team. As a key member of our Customer Service Centre (CSC), you will be responsible for supporting our national services and developing functionality to support project teams' deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transform technical requirements into an effective DevOps toolchain to enable product delivery.
  • Ensure that deployment strategies for products are repeatable, scalable, and highly available.
  • Provide project oversight to ensure standards are met.
  • Work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended.
  • Proactively monitor cloud environments to help prevent and resolve issues arising.
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement across cloud services.
Requirements:
  • Deep technical knowledge of cloud platform technologies and security, preferably with Microsoft Azure/365 and AWS Platforms.
  • Experience with agile delivery in technically diverse enterprise environments.
  • Ability to deputise for the Lead DevOps Engineer (Cloud Platform) as required.
  • Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code via Terraform.
