Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Theatre Practitioner to join our team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing expert standards of care to patients, maintaining a safe environment, and completing accurate documentation.

Main Duties

Our theatres at the Royal Blackburn site and Burnley General site offer a wide range of elective and emergency surgery through various specialties, including Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Vascular, Colorectal, HPB, Urology, Orthopaedics, Trauma, ENT, and Maxillofacial. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing workload, and adapting to changing needs.
