IPS Group is collaborating with a leading Global Insurer based in Manchester, focusing on their mid-market and corporate division. This role presents a unique opportunity for long-term career advancement and involvement in intricate underwriting processes.

We are eager to connect with Underwriting Professionals who possess experience in either Property or Casualty, whether as a combined offering or on a standalone basis. Candidates should be enthusiastic about engaging with mid-market and corporate risks, either by transitioning into this area or already managing such complex cases.

This position will allow for client interaction, where you will play a crucial role in achieving the overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in executing the financial strategy for Existing Business.
  • Underwrite in accordance with Personal Underwriting Authority and established Underwriting Guidelines to achieve targeted profitability.
  • Provide exceptional service to brokers within the panel.
  • Serve as a point of reference for junior underwriters and contribute to enhancing underwriting proficiency.

This role offers flexibility, requiring only 2 to 3 days in the office weekly, alongside occasional visits to brokers in the Manchester region as necessary. You will receive a competitive salary, industry-leading benefits, and a performance-related bonus.
