The Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage a team of three compliance and building safety professionals, providing a safe and secure environment for social housing residents across a portfolio of 4000 properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of three compliance and building safety staff members.
- Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with the six key regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on fire safety and oversee compliance surveying and remediation.
- Monitor budgets and contractor performance, including procurement and vendor management.
- Engage with residents and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
- Extensive knowledge of asbestos, electrical, fire, gas, legionella, and lifts regulations.
- Desirable: NEBOSH Fire Safety certification.
