We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our nursing bank at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of orthopaedic surgical, medical, and rehabilitation wards, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing individualized care to patients and contributing to the development of our nursing team. You will be responsible for maintaining your own nursing practice, taking every opportunity to sustain and improve your knowledge and professional competence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered care, maintaining your specialist knowledge and clinical skills, and participating in direct patient care.
- Assist ward staff in providing clinical and professional advice, expertise, and support.
- Keep up-to-date with current political issues within the NHS and future nursing trends.
- Assess care required, requesting medical input as necessary, and devising appropriate care programmes for patients.
- Ensure a patient-focused approach to care, upholding the Trust's Diversity/Equal Opportunities Policy.
- Prepare care plans to ensure the delivery of effective patient care.
- Ensure the safe delivery of medicines by the prescribed route, adhering to national and Trust guidelines.
- Participate in a yearly appraisal, setting personal objectives for your professional development plan.
