Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Porter to join our team at De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor. As a Stores Porter, you will be responsible for receiving and processing deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and loading bay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process deliveries, checking for discrepancies and ensuring accurate signing and storage
  • Organize and issue goods to the relevant departments, maintaining a tidy and organized warehouse and loading bay
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient inventory management and minimize stock discrepancies
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and reporting on stock levels and movements
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a focus on inventory management and delivery processing
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move deliveries throughout the shift
