About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Cyber Security team as a Senior Identity Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives and projects, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

As a Senior Identity Specialist, you will work closely with our IAM Lead, Infosec Director, and CISO to identify and communicate capacity and capability requirements, propose technical and operational control design improvements, and research and apply solutions to new or existing risks.

You will be responsible for providing technical and operational guidance on IAM information technology security controls, actively contributing to IAM and PAM security standards, procedures, and guidelines, and maintaining awareness of the technical environment to proactively identify potential risks.

We're looking for a self-starter with the ability to lead, inspire, and drive innovation, who can balance the needs of the Bank against security. If you have a good practical knowledge of security technologies and wider business solutions, including Identity and Access Management, remote working, and cloud technologies, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working and leading activities within a team
  • Previous experience working in a complex IT organisation encompassing service delivery, application development, and IT infrastructure
  • Understanding of best practice within Information Security and risk management, including standards such as NIST, CIS, and OWASP
  • Good practical knowledge of security technologies and wider business solutions, including Identity and Access Management, remote working, and cloud technologies
  • Ability to be pragmatic while balancing the needs of the Bank against security
