About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Forecasting Manager to join our team at NatWest Group. As a key member of our Treasury team, you will play a critical role in supporting the capital needs of our major business capital entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage capital and HoldCo plans for regulated legal entities, ensuring sufficient supply to meet demand over the planning horizon for base and stress scenarios.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to ensure cohesive, aligned, and holistic capital management approaches.
  • Assist with capital planning activities within Treasury and across the bank, ensuring robust and controlled processes.
  • Manage capital injections and instigate capital restructurings alongside relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of policy development impacting regulatory capital management.
  • Ability to meet and exceed regulatory expectations and maintain market standards.
  • Experience in bringing together internal stakeholders to demonstrate clear end-to-end processes for policy and MI reporting.
  • Provision of capital forecasts for the bank and each material legal operating entity, taking into account ICB, budgeting, rolling forecasts, and ancillary ad hoc and stress testing purposes.
  • Ensuring capital plans reflect both legal entity and franchise needs.

Desirable Skills

  • Treasury or banking experience with risk management and general banking product knowledge.
  • Awareness of best practice financial and treasury activities undertaken in peer external organizations and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Accountancy, banking, or treasury qualification.
  • Strong IT skills, ideally with good working knowledge of PCBS infrastructure.
  • Awareness of relevant financial, regulatory, and legislative developments affecting capital frameworks.
  • Good communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in managing relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple divisions and regions.
