Evolve Selection is collaborating with a distinguished health and wellness organization and Primary Care provider operating within the NHS framework.

Our client is seeking a GPhC registered Clinical Pharmacist to become a vital member of their healthcare team at a medical facility. In this role, you will serve as a knowledgeable consultant for medications, repeat prescriptions, and the optimization of pharmaceutical care for registered patients.

This position is part-time and permanent, requiring 30 hours of work per week. While on-site presence is preferred, hybrid working arrangements can be considered. The operational hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a flexible 30-minute adjustment if necessary.

Compensation & Benefits:

Preferred Qualifications for the Clinical Pharmacist:

GPhC registered Pharmacist. Ideally, candidates will have completed both the CPPE GP Practice Pathway and the Independent Prescribing qualification, though applicants with either qualification will also be considered. Experience in Primary Care is essential. A valid UK driving license and vehicle are required due to limited public transport options.

Key Responsibilities for the Clinical Pharmacist:

Deliver remote services and support to registered patients and primary care facilities, including prescribing and managing high-risk medications. Utilize critical thinking and communication skills to evaluate and address patient needs, taking into account social, cultural, and economic factors. Ensure precise prescribing and effective communication of pharmaceutical advice while identifying and managing clinical risks. Accurately document information and advice in electronic systems and utilize specialized databases for precise guidance.
