Spire Claremont Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Patient Care Assistant to become part of our esteemed team on the Wards in a permanent, Full Time role.
This position requires flexibility in working various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. Candidates must be willing to rotate across all shift patterns.
Since 1953, Spire Claremont Hospital has been delivering exceptional independent healthcare to the South Yorkshire community. Our facility is located in a serene environment, providing a range of services including surgery and outpatient care, along with diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities
Prioritizing patient care and delivering outstanding service consistently. Supporting the surgical ward team in providing high-quality patient care. Assisting in the monitoring and support of patients. Recognizing and reporting any significant changes in patients' health to the appropriate personnel. Aiding in the safe movement of patients according to hospital protocols. Delivering personal care to patients while ensuring their dignity and respect. Conducting ECGs as required. Assisting with catheter removals.Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced Patient Care Assistant eager to advance their career. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly advantageous. A committed and motivated individual. Willingness to work flexible hours, including a rotation of days, nights, and weekends. Proficient in performing ECGs, taking blood samples, measuring blood pressure, and conducting patient observations.Employee Benefits
