About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at the NHS Business Services Authority. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of business solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Your primary responsibility will be to gather and analyse business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop business cases to support investment decisions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from business process improvement to system development. You will be responsible for defining business processes, systems, and services, and for ensuring that they are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyse business requirements to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop business cases to support investment decisions
  • Define business processes, systems, and services
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions
  • Ensure that business solutions are delivered effectively and efficiently
  • Contribute to the development of others in the business analysis community
Requirements
  • Experience in business analysis, preferably in a healthcare or public sector environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with business process modelling and analysis
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2 or Agile
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
