We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs in KS1.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to the child with SEN, including academic and pastoral support
- Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and adapting materials to support the child's learning
- Implement strategies and interventions recommended by the SENCO and other professionals
- Track progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and SENCO
- Support the child with social and emotional needs, including behaviour management
- Liaise with parents and carers to provide regular updates on the child's progress
