Job Description:

As a Food & Beverage Team Leader at Chat Coffee House & Newsagents, you will be responsible for leading and motivating your shift team to deliver excellent customer service to our loyal and new customers.

You will work closely with your team to present the shop and coffee bar to the highest standard, delegate daily tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business, and maintain accurate records in accordance with HACCP.

You will also be responsible for on-the-job training for new and existing team members, evaluating their performance and development, and balancing up procedures at the beginning and end of each day.

Requirements:

  • Over 18 years
  • At least 1 year supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience working in retail and hospitality settings
  • GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade C or above or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate a track record of numeracy and literacy ability

Skills:

  • A passion to work in the retail and hospitality sector
  • Be highly motivated and willing to learn new skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and polite under pressure
