About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Fundraising and Marketing Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our mission and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new fundraising opportunities to support our growth and impact
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising campaigns and appeals to engage our supporters and generate income
  • Monitor and track fundraising progress, evaluating the effectiveness of our channels and campaigns
  • Ensure accurate and compliant management of supporter data, including permissions and consent
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues to ensure accurate recording and acknowledgement of donations and other income
  • Contribute to the development of compelling content for marketing and fundraising channels, including copywriting, photography, and video production
  • Manage and schedule social media content to engage our audience and promote our campaigns
  • Produce regular reports on marketing and fundraising activities to measure effectiveness and growth
  • Liaise with suppliers and media contacts to raise our profile and promote our work
  • Update our CRM system to reflect fundraising pipeline and reporting, as well as ensuring accurate marketing and media contacts
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices, including grants and trusts
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content
  • Proficiency in using marketing and fundraising software, including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Mailchimp
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media, with a strong understanding of online engagement and community building
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of using CRM systems and data monitoring and reporting
  • Ability to travel to our sites across Norfolk and Suffolk as required
