Position: Senior Marine Officer
Location: Portsmouth - Ryde
Department: Fleet Operations
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Senior Marine Officer to join our team on a fixed-term basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the vessel operates smoothly during the watch, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to the provisions outlined in the Safety Management System [SMS].
- Conduct regular assessments to guarantee that operational standards are maintained at the highest level.
- Supervise Deck Patrols to ensure compliance with required procedures.
- Manage the Deck Crew and assist with berthing operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- II/1 OOW Unlimited – 1st Mate certification.
- Current ENG1 medical certificate.
- Expertise in personal survival techniques.
- Proficiency in operating survival craft and rescue boats.
- Knowledge in fire prevention and firefighting techniques.
- Advanced firefighting skills.
