Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design and execution of significant electrical installations for state-of-the-art marine products.
  • Work in partnership with vessel manufacturers to offer installation support and tailor system variations specific to each vessel.
  • Leverage your knowledge of ATEX-rated installations to maintain safety and compliance in challenging environments.
  • Utilize professional engineering software such as EPlan, Siemens Capital, or Zuken to produce accurate technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into innovative marine technology solutions.
  • Provide expert advice throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring technical precision from concept through to implementation.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale marine electrical installations, with a thorough understanding of the unique challenges within the marine sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of ATEX-rated installations, emphasizing safety and regulatory compliance in explosive environments.
  • Proficiency in using professional electrical design tools such as EPlan, Siemens Capital, or Zuken, showcasing your capability to generate detailed engineering documentation.
  • A collaborative team member with strong communication skills, able to convey complex technical information to a varied audience.
