About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Butlins. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas and culinary concepts.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Level 3 Food Safety qualification and a willingness to continue professional development.
