Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Catering Assistant to join our team at Cedar Grange. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents. Your main duties will include preparing and presenting meals to a high standard, serving meals to our residents, and maintaining a clean and safe food environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present meals to a high standard, adhering to relevant food hygiene legislation
  • Serve meals to residents in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe food environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with the food service team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • Support the development of menus and meal plans to meet the dietary needs of our residents

Requirements

  • Previous catering experience is desirable, as is a food hygiene certificate
  • An understanding of safe food storage and cleaning practices is essential
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required
  • A flexible approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the lives of others
