Job Title: Exam Invigilator

Location: Sheffield Springs Academy

Salary: £11.75 hourly rate

Contract: Casual basis, hours available during exam periods

United Learning is seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to support the successful operation of examinations at Sheffield Springs Academy. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth conduct of exams, maintaining a secure and respectful environment, and providing excellent customer service to candidates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Data and Exams Manager to ensure the successful operation of the examinations process.
  • Supervise the admission of candidates into the examination room and assist them in finding their allocated seats quietly and efficiently.
  • Distribute question papers, answer booklets, and associated materials at the beginning of the examination and collect them at the end.
  • Supervise candidates in a quiet and unobtrusive manner to ensure that the regulations on conduct, communication, etc. are strictly observed.
  • Provide candidates with additional paper and/or equipment as necessary and in accordance with examination board regulations.
