Job Description

Job Title: Contract Fire Stopping Manager

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Company Vehicle (Dependent on experience)

Type: Permanent

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Contract Fire Stopping Manager to oversee our current and future fire stopping contracts. This is a dynamic, field-based role that requires a strong leader with extensive industry experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing administrative tasks, including completing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and maintaining safety documentation.

Effective communication is key in this role, with a focus on conveying key information both verbally and in writing.

The Contract Fire Stopping Manager will oversee the installation and inspection of Fire Stopping to ensure compliance with safety standards and Material Manufacturer details.

Regular meetings with clients and surveys of works in various locations across the Midlands and London will be a key part of this role.

Maintaining a CPD log and engaging in continuous personal development is essential, with opportunities for management training, including Level 7 Site Management Safety Training (SMSTS) and Fire Accreditation Scheme (FIRAS).

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Fire Stopping.

A UK driving licence.

Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
