Position: Lead Supply Chain Planning Specialist

Location: Cheshire, Hybrid

Compensation: £55,000 - £70,000

We are thrilled to collaborate with a leading global medical devices organization, currently seeking a lead supply chain planning specialist to enhance their team. This role is crucial in supporting the global quality and operations division by optimizing product availability and meeting inventory objectives while driving enhancements to essential business metrics.

In this position, you will engage closely with international cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient production and distribution of products, addressing customer requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee product supply to meet customer service goals while achieving inventory benchmarks.
  • Work in close partnership with global stakeholders across manufacturing, commercial, and finance sectors to optimize supply signals, inventory levels, and production workflows.
  • Assist in the preparation for the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, offering insights and recommendations to inform decision-making at the senior leadership level.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external partners to facilitate new product introductions and manage lifecycle activities.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain planning within a manufacturing context.
  • Experience managing a variety of third-party and in-house manufacturing partners, with a collaborative approach to working with international stakeholders.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities with effective and concise communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with planning systems; experience with SAP IBP is preferred.
