Early Years Program Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Program Director to join our team at Ultimate Activity Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our Early Years program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our young campers.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Delivery
- Design and implement a fun and engaging program for children aged 4-5 years old, aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality activities, including sports, arts, and crafts, to promote participation, development, and enjoyment.
- Team Leadership and Support
- Direct and support a small team of Early Years staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to deliver exceptional care.
- Coordinate with the Camp Manager to ensure seamless communication and collaboration between teams.
- Child Welfare and Safety
- Ensure the welfare and safety of all children in your care, adhering to Ofsted requirements and Ultimate Activity Camps' policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Administrative and Organizational Tasks
- Manage administrative duties, including sign-in/out, registration, and other related tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
- Education and Experience
- Educated to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education, with significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a group of children and interact with parents.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and its application in a camp setting.
- First Aid qualifications (12 hour or 6 hour) and a willingness to obtain further training.
