The primary objective of this role is to ensure a customer-centric, efficient, and effective property services operation that guarantees safe and high-quality living environments for residents.


The responsibilities of the Residential Property Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading the property management function by offering relevant technical knowledge in property-related issues.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, contractors, and sub-contractors, while closely engaging with tenants and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property and repair records, utilizing data for management and reporting, including tenant satisfaction metrics.
  • Managing workload demands and priorities for responsive repairs, including emergency repair services, vacant property works, and planned maintenance.
  • Ensuring value for money and quality in all work, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Fostering a culture of tenant involvement by shaping service delivery and enhancing services, ensuring that tenant engagement is integral to all operations.
  • Contributing to the formulation of relevant policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with service standards and performance improvement goals.
  • Being actively involved in the development and execution of corporate and strategic objectives, ensuring the organization maintains a positive reputation and local impact.
  • Participating in risk management by adhering to established definitions of acceptable risks and contributing to positive risk assessments.
  • Exhibiting personal and professional behaviors that align with CIH professional standards.
  • Coordinating responses to unforeseen emergencies or crisis situations.
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory standards and key industry legislation and best practices.


To qualify for the Residential Property Supervisor position, candidates should possess:

  • Previous experience in property management.
  • Experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
  • Experience collaborating with contractors.
  • Knowledge of property inspections.
  • A proactive approach to customer service and tenant engagement.
