Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard, ensuring excellent patient care is promoted within the hospital.
  • Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for inpatients and outpatients, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Conduct surgical pre-operative assessments for all patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide clinical direction and guidance to other physiotherapy staff within the team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a professional and caring environment that meets the needs of our patients and their families.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Physiotherapist with extensive postgraduate general physiotherapy experience and relevant expertise in a specialist area.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools and methodologies.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • Maths and English GCSEs at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
