Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator - Research & Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our Research & Development team at the NHS. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the clinical research team with all aspects of clinical trials administration, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and trust policies.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the clinical trials process and be able to provide support to the Research Nurses and wider Clinical Research Team. You will also be responsible for supervising Band 4 Clinical Trial Coordinators and assisting with monitoring administration of research grants or charitable grants.

Key responsibilities will include overseeing the efficient and timely set up of clinical trials, workforce planning, and maintaining databases/spreadsheets. You will also be responsible for producing monthly progress reports on recruitment and managing your own workload for daily trial activity.

We are looking for an individual with a degree-level education or equivalent experience, relevant training courses in clinical research, and experience in clinical trial administration, including data management. You will also have experience of working in a healthcare setting, staff supervision/management, and good organisational skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, plus a 15% high cost area supplement. If you are a motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about clinical research, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
