Aesthetic Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the plant services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and servicing of vehicle fire suppression systems on a range of specialist heavy plant vehicles.
The RoleThe Field Service Engineer will work on a field basis, installing and servicing fire suppression systems on various types of heavy plant vehicles. The role requires a high level of mechanical engineering competence, with experience in diesel engines, manifolds, and turbochargers being beneficial. Auto electrical experience is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Install and service fire suppression systems on specialist heavy plant vehicles
- Work on a field basis, visiting various locations including ports, quarries, and recycling sites
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure high-quality workmanship
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Highly competent in mechanical engineering/mechanics
- Experience in diesel engines, manifolds, and turbochargers (desirable)
- Auto electrical experience (desirable)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Full UK Driving Licence
