Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 p.a. depending on experience + company vehicle + fuel card + overtime + excellent company benefits
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Bishop's Stortford. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and servicing of vehicle fire suppression systems on a range of specialist heavy plant vehicles.
The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will work on a field basis, visiting various locations including ports, quarries, and recycling sites. You will be provided with comprehensive training to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform your duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Install and service vehicle fire suppression systems on specialist heavy plant vehicles
- Work on a field basis, visiting various locations including ports, quarries, and recycling sites
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
- Highly competent in mechanical engineering/mechanics
- Experience in diesel engines, manifolds, turbochargers, etc. would be beneficial
- Auto electrical experience would be beneficial
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Full UK Driving Licence
