We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to lead our large payroll function and drive future improvements. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of payroll services to over 10,000 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Oversee Payroll Function: You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the team delivering payroll services, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll.
- Payroll Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve payroll processes to create a market-leading function, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and agreements.
- Project Management: Oversee key projects in collaboration with senior leadership, driving business growth and improvement.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with legislation and relevant agreements, identifying and mitigating risks to the business.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality payroll services.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar shared services environment, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
- Project Management: Proven project management skills, with experience of leading and delivering projects to tight deadlines.
- Team Management: Strong team management skills, with experience of leading and managing teams of payroll professionals.
- Payroll Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and procedures, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and agreements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex payroll information to stakeholders.
