Job Overview

**Tact** is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead a large-scale IT programme. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex software projects and will be responsible for managing a team of Project Managers.

The programme is expected to last over 14 months and will involve delivering a full platform solution to a high-profile client. The successful candidate will have exposure to the whole business and will work closely with numerous third-party integrators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a large-scale IT programme to a high-profile client
  • Manage a team of Project Managers
  • Develop and implement a project plan to ensure successful delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure programme alignment with business objectives
  • Identify and mitigate programme risks
  • Develop and manage programme budgets and financial plans

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering IT software projects
  • Experience of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • ISO awareness and compliance
  • Direct customer-facing experience with stakeholders and external customers
  • Regulated environment experience (desirable)
  • Budget and financial management experience
  • Risk management experience (RAG, mitigation, owners etc)
