About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Examiner to join our team at Pearson. As a Principal Examiner, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our International GCSE Accounting assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of assessment strategies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and validity of assessment materials.
  • Conduct standardization and moderation activities to ensure consistency in marking and grading.
  • Provide training and support to examiners and moderators to ensure they are equipped to carry out their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and report on assessment performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in assessment and examination management.
  • Strong knowledge of International GCSE Accounting and its assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of IT proficiency.
