Position Overview:
We are looking for a committed and skilled Childcare Services Manager to oversee our dedicated team. Core Responsibilities:
- Direct, manage, and enhance a team of care specialists, offering direction, oversight, and assistance.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, policies, and protocols, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
- Design and execute personalized care strategies that cater to the unique needs of each child, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Assess and review the effectiveness of care methodologies, implementing enhancements as needed.
- Oversee financial resources and assets efficiently to guarantee the viability and effectiveness of the service.
- Engage with families, external organizations, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support and care for residents.
- Encourage a culture of ongoing improvement and professional growth within the team.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.
- Must hold an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential care environment is required.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
- A dedication to providing high-quality care and fostering positive outcomes for children and young people.
