Position Overview

We are currently looking for a MHE Coordinator to become a vital part of our Fleet Department team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) administrative and compliance tasks are executed to the highest standards, fostering a collaborative work environment while delivering exceptional Fleet services.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Days (08:00 - 17:00)

Compensation: £25,000 Per Annum

Key Responsibilities of a MHE Coordinator include:

  • Documenting equipment defects with suppliers
  • Inputting repair information and finalizing tasks in the internal system.
  • Following up with suppliers for updates on service requests
  • Ensuring compliance with Service & LOLER scheduling and monitoring
  • Managing MHE rentals – updating the internal system and MHE register as required
  • Conducting weekly ODO data entry
  • Ordering necessary parts
  • Assisting in managing the departmental mailbox.
  • Staying informed about news items and process updates as outlined on the internal system.
  • Collaborating with both internal and external teams to relay pertinent information
  • Ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the required standards to support seamless business operations.
  • Updating and maintaining the MyFleet system as needed.
  • Observing and learning from MHE Team members to enhance your skills.
  • Supporting any projects as directed by the Fleet management team.
  • Performing additional administrative tasks as required within the role's scope.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the MHE Coordinator position will possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Experience in Fleet Administration
  • Knowledge of MHE operations
